Tashfi Emdad is a made-to-order boutique in Chittagong, creating saari, salwar kameez, party wear, panjabi and handbags for the moments people carry with them.
A colour can return you to a place. A fabric can hold the memory of a person.
A silhouette can change how you enter a room.
That is what drew me to design: not simply how clothing looks, but how it makes you feel when the moment arrives.
I want every piece to feel personal from the first fitting, and familiar the moment you wear it.
Act II · Conversation
Act II — Conversation
Measurements tell me how a piece should fit. The conversation tells me how it should feel.
You may arrive with a clear idea, a saved image, a favourite colour, a fabric you cannot forget, or only the occasion ahead. Each is enough to begin.
Together, we talk about who the piece is for, where it will be worn, how you want to move in it, and how you want to be seen. From bridal wear and Eid looks to gifts and evening pieces, the process begins with your story.

Proportion. Movement. Texture. The fall of a fabric as you walk, sit, celebrate and return home.
I consider the details that make a piece feel effortless: the line of a sleeve, the placement of embroidery, the weight of a drape, the finish that sits closest to the skin.
For a wedding, those choices become part of a lasting memory. For an everyday occasion, they can make an ordinary day feel considered.
In either case, the aim is the same: for you to recognise yourself in the final piece, exactly as you hoped to be seen.
